Clinton W BybeeClinton W. Bybee is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of ARCH Venture Partners, which he joined in 1988. Prior to joining ARCH, he held a variety of operating roles with Amoco Corporation.  Mr. Bybee concentrates primarily in the areas of information technology and physical sciences, including advanced materials, optoelectronics, semiconductors, and infrastructure businesses. He has played key roles in ARCH's founding investments in numerous companies. He is on the Board of Directors of Nanosys, Cambrios Technologies, Nitronex, Aveso, and other private companies. Mr. Bybee also co-founded and serves as the President of the Texas Venture Capital Association.  He holds a B.S. in Engineering from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A from the University of Chicago.

Joseph CarrJoseph Carr, Chief Executive Officer, recently served as the start-up CEO for QD Vision, Inc., an MIT spinout developing quantum dot display technologies.  Formerly, Mr. Carr was President and CEO of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, Inc., VP of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, GmbH and general manager for the emerging Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) Display business unit.  Prior to his tenure at OSRAM, Mr. Carr spent more than 20 years at The Dow Chemical Company where he last served as General Manager of Dow's Electronic Materials business.  Mr. Carr served on the boards of directors of Cambridge Display Technology, a public company (NASDAC: OLED) until its acquisition by Sumitomo Chemical, and venture backed QD Vision, Inc. and Plextronics, Inc.

Eric EmmonsEric Emmons manages the energy investment portfolio of Siemens Venture Capital. He is based in Boston, MA. His board involvement includes Managesoft, Powerit, Porogen, and Bandgap Engineering. Eric was a founding partner at the Massachusetts Green Energy Fund, where he led many of its investments in power generation, energy efficiency, and new materials. Eric previously was on the founding team of Enmed, Inc., which developed clinical trial management software for the biopharmaceutical and medical device industries, and managed strategic planning for EPIX Medical, Inc., (Nasdaq: EPIX) a public biotechnology firm in Cambridge, MA. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelors degree from Princeton University.

John GlushikJohn Glushik is a partner with Intersouth Partners, where he works with the firm’s information technology portfolio. He has a background in engineering and consulting within the telecommunications and aerospace industries. His previous experience includes strategic market consulting at Booz-Allen & Hamilton, telecommunications satellite engineering and marketing at General Electric and data communications research as a Draper Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is an active member of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, serving on CED’s board of directors and executive committee, and is co-chair of the AeA Venture Forum. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina and serves on the advisory board of the Entrepreneurs Foundation of the Southeast. John holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering and materials science from Duke University, an M.S. in aeronautics and astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

John ReganJohn Regan, Senior Director of IllinoisVENTURES, John Regan is a Senior Director of IllinoisVENTURES and a Partner of the Illinois Emerging Technologies Fund. He focuses on physical sciences, with particular emphasis on advanced materials, device physics, and clean technology applications. Prior to IllinoisVENTURES, John spent fourteen years in Venture Capital, as a Managing Director of Keystone Venture Partners from 1995 to 2003 and as a Principal of Apex Venture Partners from 1989 to 1995. Several of John’s investments were acquired or went public including CDnow, Imaging Automation, VST Technologies, Mothers Work and Arnold Palmer Golf. John currently sits on the boards of several companies including Eden Park Illumination, Advanced Diamond Technologies, DzymeTech, Semprius, and Autonomic Materials and has collaborated on coverage of several other investments. From 1983 to 1989, John was in the Advanced Programs Department for General Dynamics - Fort Worth Aerospace Division. There he focused on advanced technology programs, held a top-secret security clearance, and was awarded the General Dynamics Educational Fellowship and Emerald Recognition Award for extraordinary achievement. John has BS and MS degrees in General Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

John RogersJohn Rogers, a Founder, is a Professor of Engineering and Chemistry at the University of Illinois in the Nanoelectronics and Biophotonics group. He is the former Director of Condensed Matter Physics Research at Bell Laboratories. John's honors include: MIT's Technology Review magazine for excellence in research (2004) and (2000); Frost & Sullivan, Circle of Excellence Award (2003); and the Harvard University Robert B. Woodward Scholar (2001).

Greg WolfGreg Wolf, president of Duke Energy Renewables, Duke Energy's nonregulated renewable energy business with more than 1 gigawatt of generation assets providing wind and solar energy solutions for customers throughout the United States. These customers include utilities, electric cooperatives and municipalities. Greg previously served as senior vice president of development for Duke Energy's solar and biomass businesses, and has managed Duke Energy's energy technology investments. He has also served as vice president of Communication Infrastructure, leading Duke Energy's commercial telecommunications businesses. Prior to the Duke Energy/Cinergy merger, Greg was vice president of Cinergy Ventures, and vice president of generation management for Cinergy's commercial business unit. Greg's power industry experience also includes executive roles at General Electric, where he managed energy investments for GE Capital, and led business development for GE Power Systems. Greg holds undergraduate degrees in industrial management and finance from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has represented Duke Energy in board roles at General Compression, Lascom SA, Miller Pipeline Corp., Reliant Resources, Current Communications, Cadence Network Inc. and Q-Comm Corp. He has also served as a trustee on the Cincinnati Museum Center Board and is a board member of the University of Cincinnati Foundation.
